Let's do some worldbuilding!

Welcome to Random Making Encounters! Join me on an endless journey of random making adventures. It seems crazy and chaotic but there’s a method to the madness. The common theme is storytelling and worldbuilding through miniatures and dioramas. From Dungeons & Dragons terrain and dioramas to haunted book nooks, there’s a story behind every project. Along the way we’ll encounter and experiment with a wide variety of materials and techniques. When we need to add a bit of electronic wizardry to the project, Arduinos and LEDs will bring the magic.

Be a part of the party!

Jack of all trades...

Full disclosure! I like to consider myself a multipotentialite but many would call that a jack of all trades… or say I’m a little scattered. What that means is I’m not an expert and you should always seek out expert help or training when learning new skills. As you’ll find, some of my projects work out from sheer dumb luck and that should never be considered a solid safety strategy. As with just about everything on the web, verify the validity of the information if you have concerns. This is especially true for electronics projects. I have zero formal training in electronics and have burned up my fair share of expensive components… and I do mean puffs of flame, smoke, and the smell of hot electricity… some of you know what that’s like.

Let’s consider the PSA outta the way and let’s dive into some projects!
